Helen O'Connell was a wonderful songbird who invariably pleased her adoring fans; and this CD has all of the tracks from two of her record albums entitled Here's Helen and Green Eyes. The quality of the sound on this CD is excellent and the artwork incorporates the original record album artwork very well.

There's also two Bob Eberly duets. The cd ends with three Gisele That Old Gang Of Mine - Various - Jim Aylwards Beautiful Music, Beautiful Memories, Volume Eight -- duets. Although I love both of these singers I found these songs to be overdone.

Every number is a pleasure to hear over and over again. Bob and Helen display a grasp of the material that proves they are exceptionally masterful; and their sophisticated phrasing enhances their performances even more. In addition, Jimmy Dorsey and his band are in excellent form on this CD. The quality of the sound is excellent and that artwork is very well done. What a number to start to album off with! They all make it sound so incredibly easy; but of course we know it really wasn't--these are Anytime - Helen OConnell - Original Radio Broadcasts whose talents always carried them through.

Hello, Young Lovers: Capitol Sings Rodgers And Hammerstein has some of Capitol Records' greatest recording artists ever singing their hearts out on these wonderful songs written by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
