Items 1 to 44 of 44 on page 1 of 1. Mutant City Acid limited hand-numbered 12". Balkan Vinyl. Mark Archer, a name familiar to Balkan Vinyl, opens the EP with an electrified piece of four-to-the-floor techno funk, while Ben Pest boils down the instrumentation in "Scheduled Acid" for a track that sounds like a cooler version of Mylo's "Muscle Car".
Posthuman takes the EP into spacey, Detroit, techno territory with "Don't Rush", while Chevron powers up his to supply a track as cheeky and acidic as what Killekill's Affie Yusuf can muster. Moog Your Body Vol 1 12". Polybius Trax. Mutant City Acid 3 limited hand-numbered 12" 1 per customer. On the A side Cardopusher gives us some vintage Chicago acid reminiscent of Plethora_Fagans Never Never - Posthuman - The Uncertainty Of The Monkey Bam Bam on the ferocious "Facelifter" while Perseus Traxx gives us the spooky "Amphitheatre of Joppa" which builds the suspense a lot like another certain classic by Suburban Knight; you know the one!
Not just another apt slogan for the new generation but a wicked track to boot! With its driving arpeggio that later morphs into style acid and rusty drums; this one's got all you need! Finally UK techno legend Paul Mac appears too!
Metro Jaxx Volume One 12". Predictably, the compilation style affair is packed full of rock solid box jams and mind-altering peak-time workouts. Highlights include the ragged acid lines and bouncy, ghetto-house style beats of Granary 12's "Manc Mania", the futurist Detroit melodies of Matt Whitehead's "Transmit Frequency", the no-nonsense acid house psychedelia of Posthuman's "Meat Market" and the slowed-down intensity of Han Do Jin's "Drive Less".
I Love Acid limited hand-numbered hand-stamped 12". I Love Acid. Flatlife Limited 2 coloured vinyl 12". Flatlife Holland.
Horn Wax Eleven limited hand-stamped hand-numbered gram vinyl 12". Perseus Traxx is in an especially romantic mood with the blown out tones of "Manque" straining through a fog of reverb and dust, creating a Plethora_Fagans Never Never - Posthuman - The Uncertainty Of The Monkey mesmerizing jacker in the process.
Posthuman by way of contrast keeps things clear and concise, preferring a sinsister, sleazy approach to acid that rides a slower tempo and sounds all the more alluring for it.

Weapons Of Desire. Hecatism limited gram vinyl 12". The Doctor For My Heart - Modern Talking - Gold Serie Teil.2 of the title track come expertly chosen also, with Disco Bloodbath resident Damon Martin taking the track even deeper into something approaching Balearic groove, and PORK INTL, who adds a distinctly more interstellar flavour to the original with its Danny Wolfers-style analogue house chords.
Wake Up limited hand-numbered 12". Posthuman EP 12". Atmosferas Artificiales CD. Discos Probeta Columbia. Airwave Uranium heavyweight vinyl 12". Here the long-serving duo pops up on X-Kalay with a particularly robust and club-friendly three-tracker. For straight-up heaviness you can't beat "King Rat", a muscular and sweaty fusion of booming beats, clanking drum fills, outer-space effects and energy-packed acid lines.
Arguably more exciting, though, is A-side "Airwave Uranium", an acid-electro bubbler rich in psychedelic TB lines, moody chords and bleeping electronics. X-Kalay artist Lou Karsh provides the accompanying remix, giddily emphasizing Posthuman's razor-sharp acid lines while subtly beefing up the beats. The Peoples Republic pre-release CD. Posthuman CD single.
Posthuman 12". Language Point CD. The Snake Bites Twice heavyweight vinyl 12". Craigie Knowes. Further proof arrives via the duo's first EP for Craigie Knowes, which boasts a ridiculously heavy and psychedelic workout - "Cobra Structure" - amongst its' numerous highlights. Further encouragement to start jackin' is provided via the undulating TB lines, creepy chords and clanking machine drums of "Polywater Acid", while "Down 2 Jakk" fixes twisted acid lines and stabbing, rave style lead lines to crispy drums.
Arguably best of all, though, is EP opener "Steal The Snow", a deep, spacey and bleeping electro cut whose fizzing energy is enhanced Un Día De Domingo - Alexandre Pires - Alma Brasileira end by the presence of some seriously bouncy piano riffs.
Decompression 12". Bodywork Plethora_Fagans Never Never - Posthuman - The Uncertainty Of The Monkey . ILA gram vinyl 12". Heavyweight vinyl, no digital, no represses. Proper gear. There are a few less raging peak-time smashers than you might expect, though there's no Think For A Minute - Napalm Death - MP3 Collection the incredibly high quality of the druggy chuggers, dark ambient numbers and bit electro jams showcased instead.
As always the packaging and presentation is superb, too, The Power Of Love - Jennifer Rush - Classics Balkan Vinyl opting for an experimental "random coloured vinyl" pressing there are apparently over different combinations of trans-lucent and marbled vinyl across the copies manufactured and a special insert a tube map of the fictional city and a print of the sleeve artwork by the guys.
